Another great result for Peter from Holland only came for a short stay with us Saturday to Monday three days no nights and he had 7 fish totaling 235lb an average of 33.5lb. A great start to the year here at spruce Lake,i did tell you all to get over here for the start of the year people have missed out on a great Mays fishing,the fish are piling on the weight and looking great.

Here’s a big congratulations to Michael Purday here at Spruce Lake the week commencing the 18th ,what looked like a bit of a downer weather wise turned into what I would say a fishing week of a lifetime. 

27 fish totaling 867lb an average of 32.1 lb New lake record Buster at 43lb and a pb common at 38lb ,a few small stockies and 6 fish lost. 

10 x20s. 13 x 30s. 4 x 40s 

We know bigger fish must be in here as buster was not the biggest by far last year. 

Not as big as some I know but for a lake only two years old it’s a great achievement here at Spruce Lake,here are some of the pictures from last week.All fish were caught on Holland Baits scopex and liver 20m boillies topped with maze and a couple on the scopex and liver pop ups,a big thanks to all at Holland baits for a great service.
